The bid opening ceremony of the third phase of independently supported gas turbines project undertaken by CNTIC was held in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province at 10 am, August 30, 2005. The bid involved two gas power plant projects in Xiamen and Putian.
Attending the ceremony were Zhang Zhonghua, Vice-President of CNTIC, as well as other concerned leaders from National Development and Reform Commission, Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and Fujian Provincial Government Office for Key Projects. Project staff members and experts from project operators, designing institutes, consulting firms and Gas Turbine Business Division under CNTIC, representatives of the bidders Dongfang Electric Group Corporation and Harbin Power Equipment Co. Ltd.— a total of over 100 persons, also attended the bid opening ceremony.
