On May 18th, CNTIC and Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) signed a contract for the Ashuganj 132KV substation renovation project. This project is CNTIC’s first power transmission and transformation project in the Bangladeshi market. Once the project is completed, Ashuganj will become the most important power hub of the northern region to provide stable power transmission to the Dhaka, capital of the country, and its surrounding areas, which is of great strategic significance for the upgrading of Bangladesh’s national power grid.
