On the morning of August 18, 2005, Zhang Zhonghua, Vice-President of CNTIC, attended the delivery ceremony for the first F-CLASS Gas Turbine of
Shanghai Electric Group
Co., Ltd., accompanied by Xu Juping, Deputy General Manager of Gas Turbine Business Division under Head Department of Power & Energy. The ceremony was chaired by Huang Dinan, President of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd., with speeches delivered by Zheng Jianhua, President of Power Station Group under Shanghai Electric, Uriel J. Sharef, Siemens Executive Vice-President, and Qu Wenguang, General Manager of Huaneng Shanghai Shidongkou Gas Turbine Electricity Co., Ltd., Hu Yanzhao, Vice-Mayor of Shanghai Municipality, attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for the ceremony. Well-known electricity group corporations, distinguished experts of gas turbine and all related proprietors also attended the ceremony. This is the first gas turbine assembled by Shanghai Electric Corp. and Siemens consortium after they won the bid of a packaged gas turbine, which will be used in Huaneng Shanghai Shidongkou Gas Turbine Power Station Project.
