In the face of the novel coronavirus epidemic, CNTIC has resumed work in an orderly manner, insisting on both prevention and control of the epidemic and resumption of work and production.

According to the relevant deployment and requirements of Beijing municipal government and China General Technology Group (CGT), CNTIC, starting from February 10, has informed all Beijing-based departments to carry out their work according to CGT’s resumption model so as to ensure the normal and orderly development of CNTIC’s operation and management. Also, CGT’s relevant requirements are being strictly implemented. Those who return to Beijing for less than 14 days and do not have to be on duty need to carry out relevant work from home through telephone, the Internet and other means to minimize the hidden danger of the epidemic.

CNTIC’s subsidiaries outside Beijing need to strictly implement the requirements of local governments on epidemic prevention and control and resumption of work. Except for CNTIC International Contracting & Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNTIC International) and its subordinate units located in Wuhan, all other subsidiaries have resumed work. CNTIC International will strictly put local resumption arrangements in place in the future.

Currently, overseas projects being conducted by CNTIC are operating normally. Each overseas project site has set up an epidemic emergency team and formulated epidemic prevention measures to ensure the health and safety of on-site employees and carry out dynamic monitoring so as to minimize the adverse effects of the epidemic. The project execution team has communicated with its domestic and foreign counterparts through telecommuting, teleconference and other means. It has timely strengthened communication with government departments and property owners in relevant countries, explained the situation, and obtained understanding and collaboration. The team has timely reported the impact of the epidemic and difficulties to commercial offices of embassies or consulates in relevant countries where projects are conducted, and proactively kept in touch with domestic enterprises specializing in production and logistics for support, in a bid to strive to achieve the normal progress of projects.
