On December 2, 2005, CNTIC successfully signed an agent contract for tendering of three mainframes of the million-kilowatt-class ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units of Guangdong Pinghai Power Plant Project (Phase I). Pinghai Power Plant is a new power plant invested jointly by Guangdong Yuedian Group and two other shareholders. It is planned that 6 million-kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units will be constructed in different phases. At the preliminary phase, 10.2 billion RMB will be invested.
That CNTIC obtains the power of agency with the million-kilowatt-class ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units will lay down a good foundation for CNTIC to develop business in this regard in the future.
