On April 9, General Manager Zhang Xu of China National Technical Import and Export Corporation accompanied Xu Xianping, Secretary of the Party Leading Group and Chairman of China General Technology Group (CGT), and Wang Xusheng, member of the Party Leading Group and Deputy General Manager of CGT, to meet Sri Lankan Prime Minister Wickremesinghe in Colombo. Mr. Xu Xianping and Mr. Wickremesinghe reviewed CGT’s history in the construction of infrastructure projects such as Sri Lanka's South Expressway and South Railway and had in-depth exchanges on the participation of CGT’s affiliated enterprises in Sri Lanka’s national economic development. Also present at the meeting were Sun Jian, General Manager of CGT’s International Business Department, Ruan Guang, Chairman of China National Machinery Import and Export Corporation, and Gao Zhan, Vice President of CNTIC.
