In the field of Petro-chemical, CNTIC will build in the market of equipment importation and technology reconstruction for large scale enterprises and will develop the market for import of fine petrochemical technology. At the same time, CNTIC is developing the business for export of oil exploration, refinery and fertilizing equipment, with target markets in middle-east, south-east Asia and CIS. CNTIC aims at market development, project management and contracting, and develop its business.

CNTIC is actively involved in the technology re-engineering and upgrading of local enterprises in the petrochemical field. CNTIC has imported LYOCELL short fibre technology and complete equipment with a capacity of 30,000 tones per year for Baoding Swan Co. Ltd. This equipment is called the Environment Fibre in the 21th Century. CNTIC has imported a 450kt/y synthetic ammonia and 800kt/y carbamide project for CNOOC Chemical Ltd., which is the largest imported nitrogenous fertilizer equipment in a single product line at present. CNTIC also imported one set of 30kt/y equipment for Sichuan Zigong Honghe Chemical Industry Co. Ltd. This project is one the major projects in the Sichuan Province and was financed by the Spanish Government. It can enhance production structure, save energy and reduce consumption as well as improve product quality.

In the field of export of complete plants, CNTIC abides by the policy of putting emphasis on technology-intensive products including high-tech products and complete plants. CNTIC has exported technology and equipment of soda ash and ammonia chloride plant to Indonesia with capacity of 150kt/y, which is the biggest export project in this line in China up to present. The complete plant of viscose staple fibre with capacity of 10kt/y to Pakistan is the first production line exported in China. CNTIC has succeeded in the projects of pharmaceutical plant, oxydol plant and formic acid plant in Pakistan, soda ash plant with capacity of 200kt/y in Iran, and NaCl plant in Egypt.

With the development of the projects, close collaboration relations are established with the famous enterprises in the field of petro-chemical in China and forms the business pattern as contractor dealt with market exploiting, kernel technology control and project organization, working up the role of contractor of project management type.
