During August 26, 2008 to 27, CNTIC Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Sun Weiming headed a delegation and paid a courtesy visit to Vice President of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation, Mr. NGUYEN HUU TUYEND, and General Manager of Vietnam Textile Corporation, Mr. GIANG and Deputy General Manager Mr. TRUONG respectively. They¡¯ve conducted friendly and fruitful talks on mutual cooperation fields.
To establish China¡¯s telecommunication equipments export market a fair competition mechanism, to maintain an orderly business environment, to foster Chinese enterprises good external image in the international market, on August 21, 2008, Chinese Telecommunication Equipments Export Competitive Self-Discipline Convention was signed in Beijing. Vice Minister of Commerce Mr. Jiang Yaoping, Vice Minister of Information Industry Miao Wei, General Manager of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Mr. Wang Yi, Vice President of China Exim Bank Mr. Li Jun, First Vice President of China Electrical and Mechanical Chamber of Commerce Mrs. Zhang Yujing and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the signing ceremony. Included are China's largest telecommunication equipments export company signed the self-discipline convention; and CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu signed the convention. This great event marked, with the guidance of the Government, with the coordination of Chamber of Commerce, China's export enterprises in the telecommunication equipments will be further operate in accordance with the law, with strict self-discipline, honesty and trustworthiness, to standardize a fair and orderly market competition, and make new contributions to the development of China's telecommunication industry.
Strategic and Cooperative Framework Agreement was signed by CNTIC and Qier Machine Tool Group Company Ltd. in the city of Qiqi Haer on August 14, 2008. The participants presenting at the signing ceremony include Wang Xusheng, President of CNTIC, Sun Weiming, Party¡¯s Secretary and Executive Vice President of CNTIC, Zhang Zhonghua, Vice President of CNTIC, Qu Bo, Board Chairman of Qier Machine Tool Group Company Ltd., Chen Gengsheng, Party¡¯s Secretary, Zhang Quan, General Manager ,Deputy General Manager Shen Yanbin and relevant personals from the two companies.
Members of Security Commission of CNTIC led by Sun Weiming, Party¡¯s Secretary and Executive Vice President had an overall security inspection on the office areas. Directors and security inspectors from company departments like President¡¯s Office, Company Development Division, HR Division, Political Affairs Division and Finance Division.
2008 Interim meeting featuring transforming and upgrading of CNTIC is held in Beijing on August 21, 2008. All of the management at various levels participated the conference.
On July 31, 2008, CNTIC General Manager Mr. Wang Xusheng, Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Sun Weiming and Deputy General Manager Mr. Shanwei paid a visit to General Manager of Northwest Power Construction Corporation Mr. Wang Shengnian and the Party Secretary Mr. Fang Dongfeng. Through friendly discussions, the two sides reached a consensus on SURALAYA 1x 600MW Power Plant project implementation, further marketing in Indonesian power plant projects and establishing long-term strategic cooperative relations.
On July 26, 2008, Contract for SAMANGAN 3,300 Tons /Day Cement Production was signed in Tehran. CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu and General Manager of the Owner, Mr. Abbas Khajeh Piri signed the Contract respectively, with the total amount more than 40 million U.S. Dollars. Our domestic partners, office personnel from Overseas Marketing Division 3 and CNTIC Representative Office in Iran attended.
Wang Xusheng, president of CNTIC and the management members met with Qi Xuren, secretary of committee of discipline investigation and chairman of labor union from Qier Machine Tool Group Co.,LTD. The two sides exchanged views on how to enhance communication and corporation on the introduction of key technologies and equipments and international marketing so as to promote mutual development.
July 11, 2008, the signing ceremony of Mobile Equipment Purchase Contracts for Yangshan Deepwater Port Project (phase III stage 2) which was tendered and purchased by CNTIC was held successfully in Shanghai. Zhang Zhonghua, Deputy General Manager of CNTIC, Liu Zuoliang, Chairman of Shanghai Tongsheng Investment (Group) Corp. , Mr. Gui Mo, Chairman of YSTSPC, and Mr. Lu Haihu, Chairman of SIPG, represented CNTIC, the owner, and the Customer respectively, signed the procurement equipment with the Suppliers.
On July 11, 2008, Contract Signing Ceremony for Iran REFSANJAN 3,300tons/day cement production project was held in Genertec Plaza. CNTIC General Manager Mr. Wang Xusheng and Chairman of RAFSANJAN represented the sides respectively signed the Contract. General Manager of Iran MODABER Group, CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu and staff from relevant departments attended.

On July 4, 2008, Operational Training Contract for Indonesia Suralaya 1x 600MW Coal-fired Steam Power Plant was signed in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Shanwei and Jiangxi Nanchang Power Plant President Mr. Bian Yueping represented the two sides to sign the contract respectively.

The company held a conference promoting learning of strategic development on July 2, 2008.Wang Xusheng, president of CNTIC delivered an important speech in which he put forward ¡°three requirements¡± and ¡°five put-into-places¡± aiming at promoting strategic transformation. The management members and all of the cadres in Beijing attended the conference.

June 3, 2008, CNTIC General Manager Mr. Wang Xusheng, Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Sun Weiming and Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu had a meeting with delegation headed by Mr. Lin Churong, the Director of China New Building Material Hangzhou Design Institute and Mr. Wang Lianzhu, the Executive Deputy Director in Genertec Plaza. During May 18, 2008 - May 23, 2008, CNTIC Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Sun Weiming had a formal visit to the Vietnam BO-YI special economic zone, with the direct invitation of its Chairman. During the stay, Mr. Sun visited BO-YI special economic zone Chief Executive, Mr. Ruan Shida, Vietnam Global Investment Enterprise Corporation Chairman and Managing Director, Ms. Chen Ying-hong and local officials. The two sides conducted a friendly exchanges and talks on infrastructure projects and other areas of interest in special economic zone development, and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
May 20, 2008, CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu visited Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency of Mr.HANOV in Cabinet building.The two sides had a friendly talk. Chief Representative Mr. Tan Jinyun and Deputy Chief Representative of Genertec Group in Central Asia, Mr. Quanwei, Deputy Director of EEB, Mr. Qi Xuejun and personnel from CNTIC Turn-key Project Execution Division participated in the meeting.
May 19, 2008, CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu visited Uzbekistan Undersecretary of Ministry of Economic Affairs Mr. ULUGBEK NAZAROV. The two sides had a cordial and friendly talk, mutually exchanged views on cooperation projects in the related areas, which had achieved a good progress of work. May 12, 2008, General Manager of CNTIC Mr. Wang Xusheng and Deputy General Manager Mr. Shan Wei paid a visit to His Excellency of JUSUF KALLA, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta. Mr. Wang extended great appreciation to Mr. Jusuf¡¯s receipt of audience, and gave a brief introduction of CNTIC¡¯s capacity and outstanding achievements in areas such as energy and infrastructure construction. Mr. Wang made a report on the power plant project execution which is contracted by CNTIC in Indonesia, and said the company will fully guarantee the project smooth implementation. He hope to be able to have more opportunities to participate in the Indonesian energy and infrastructure areas as the relevant cooperation projects, with the support of His Excellency of Mr. Jusuf and the relevant government departments. Mr. JUSUF KALLA affirmed the company¡¯s efforts in Indonesian market and hoped the power station construction projects completed on schedule and CNTIC¡¯s more participation in the Sino-Indonesia bilateral economic exchanges and cooperation.
May 12, 2008, CNTIC Deputy General Manager Mr. Wu Duoyu met Iranian LARESTAN Cement Corporation General Manager Mr. MHPARSAEI and his delegation in Shanghai. The two sides signed the 3,300 tons/day cement plant cooperation memorandum. Officials from CNTIC domestic partners, CNTIC Enterprise Management and Marketing Three Division of International Engineering Department attended the meeting.
May 11, 2008, General Manager of CNTIC Mr. Wang Xusheng, Deputy General Manager Mr. Shanwei and Vice President of Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute Mr. Shen Youxing paid a visit to Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Mr. Lan Lijun and Minister-counselor Mr. Fang Qiuchen in Jarkata. Mr. Wang delivered a brief report on the company¡¯s marketing and project progress in Indonesia, and presented great appreciation for the strong support from China Embassy in Indonesia. Mr. Wang said the company will fully guarantee the project in hand smooth implementation and continuously deepen participating in Indonesian energy and infrastructure construction areas, under the instruction and support from China Embassy. Ambassador Lan and Counselor Fang introduced Indonesian development situation and Sino-Indonesian economic cooperation, highly-valued the company¡¯s efforts in Indonesian market, and encouraged the company do a good job in hand, focused on the long term, establish a brand and good reputation, greater involvement of the Sino-Indonesian bilateral economic exchanges and cooperation. Officials from President's Office, CNTIC Representatives in Indonesia accompanied the meeting.
May 10, 2008, the next day after contract signing, General Manager of CNTIC Mr. Wang Xusheng and the Deputy General Manager Mr. Shan wei headed a delegation to the preliminary site survey of the Sumatra Sumbar 2x100MW coal-fired steam power plant project, located 30 kilometers southwest of Sumatra provincial capital of Padang city. The Contractor¡¯s project execution team and the technical engineers from design institute in-depth understand the situation, and obtain first-hand information on the project, which has created favorable conditions for the future better implementation of the project. This preliminary site survey shows that the mobilization of the project officially started.
May 9, 2008 morning, the EPC Contract signing ceremony for Indonesia Sumbar 2x100MW coal-fired steam power plant was held in the Sumatra provincial governor grand hall, Padang, Sumatra, Indonesia. Wang Xusheng, General Manager of CNTIC, as the representative of the EPC Contractor signed the contract. Shanwei, Deputy General Manager of CNTIC, Mr.Fahmi, President of PT. PLN, Mr. Fauzi, Governor of Sumatra, other relevant central and local government officials, representatives of Owners and partners, a total of about 200 people attended the signing ceremony.
CNTIC held a bussiness operation analysis conference for the first quarter this year on April 24 of 2008 after Genertec Company hosted a transformation and upgrading meeting. During this conference , contents of the meeting of present company and the speech delivered by chairman Tongxin He was convoyed and company's budget performance was briefed and analyzed in this conference. April 17, 2008, the signing ceremony of Hunan Tai Gelin Paper Group Yueyang Paper 400000T/A Wood-containing Printing Paper Project Paper Machine 9&10 was held in Shanghai. April 7, 2008, Mr. Wang Xusheng, CNTIC General Manager had a cordial meeting with Mr. Sadykov Shukhrat, Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan State Joint Stock Railway Company and his delegation. The two parties conducted friendly negotiation and exchanged ideas on the Electrification of Railway Section Tukumachi-Angren Project in the Republic of Uzbekistan. On April 4, 2008, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, His Excellency of Jusuf Kalla paid a visit to the site of PLTU 1 BANTEN SURALAYA UNIT 8 contracted by CNTIC. CNTIC Deputy General Manager, Mr. Shan Wei, Project Director, Mr. Zhang Xu, together with Indonesia Minister of Energy, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Governor of Banten Province, Presidents of Mandiri Bank, BNI Bank, Mega Bank and government officials of Banten Province accompanied to the whole site survey. Mr. Kalla and Mr. Shan Wei hold a mutual discussion on the execution of the Works and attached great importance to the bilateral cooperation issues. Mr. Kalla expressed satisfaction on CNTIC¡¯s confidence to handle the Works in the contract period, and he will provide continuous support to CNTIC for the project.
CNTIC convened a special conference on HSE management work of this year April 7 of 2008 aiming at deepening and implementing the effective application of HSE management system on EPC projects. This meeting was hosted by Wang Xusheng, President of CNTIC, and among the participants include the leaders of CNTIC, directors of departments, relevant technicians and HSE management represitatives.
Completion ceremony of Egyptian salt production project phase¢òin an EPC mode was held on the site of Egyptian Salt and Mining Company (EMISAL) besides Kalun Lake in the province of Fayum of Egypt .Wu Chunhua, Chinese ambassador to Egypt ,Cao Jiachang, minister and counselor of Economic and Commercial Office of Chinese embassy to Egypt ,Zhang Zhonghua,vice president of CNTIC, governor of Fayum Province, Egyptian Environmental Minister and board chairman of EMISAL(owner of the project) participated in the ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. This project undertaken by CNTIC successfully fill the blank of the production of heptahydrate Epsom salt and vacuum salt, which helps comprehensively use Kalun Lake resources and strengthened the environmental protection of the surrounding area of Kalun Lake so as to play the role of promoting the sustainable development of Egyptian salt industry and enhance Sino-Egyptian economic exchanges and cooperation and the friendship of the two peoples.
March 19, 2008, Mr. Zhang Zhonghua, Deputy General Manager of CNTIC, called on Mr. Cao Jiachang, Minister Counsellor of The Economic and Commercial Counsellor¡¯s Office of the Embassy of the People¡¯s Republic of China in the Arab Republic of Egypt during his visit to Egypt, and appreciated their strong support. Mr. Cao affirmed and highly appraised the achievements made by CNTIC in Egypt market. On the 24th, Mr. Zhang called on the owners of the project--Epsom Salt Production Plant & Sodium Chloride Production Plant. The two parties reviewed and agreed that the course of mutual cooperation of 10 years was very successful, and would continue to strengthen this cooperation and achieve greater success in the future.
Match 7, 2008, the procurement contract of Yueyang Paper 400000t/a Wood-Containing Printing Paper Project which was tendered and purchased by CNTIC was signed successfully at Headquarter of Yueyang Paper Co., Ltd in Changsha Xingsha economic and technological development zone in Hunan Province. Zhang Zhonghua, Deputy General Manager of CNTIC, Wu Guilin, Chairman of the Board of Hunan Tiger Forest & Paper Group Co., Ltd and Yueyang Paper Co., Ltd, represented CNTIC and the owner respectively, signed the import contract of equipment procurement with Voith Paper GmbH & Co. KG, Andritz AG, Andtriz OY, and Quattroll Oy.
March 4, 2008, the signing ceremony of Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation in Central Asia and domestic contract of Electrification of Railway Section Tukumachi-Angren Project in Republic of Uzbekistan between CNTIC and EEB was held in Genertec Plaza. Wang Xusheng, General Manager of CNTIC, Sun Weiming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Deputy General Manager, Liu Zhiyuan, general manager of EEB, and Qi Xueyong, Deputy General Manager signed the agreement and the contract on behalf of the two sides respectively. Zhang Ruen, Deputy General Manager of Genertec Group, Wu Duoyu, Deputy General Manager of CNTIC, and Wang Qizeng, President of EEB attended the signing ceremony.
CNTIC Party Committee held a meeting studying party¡¯s theories and reviewed the important statements and party constitution on the democratic centralism made by party leaders in three generations on March 3, 2008. President Wang Xusheng made important remarks and Sun Weiming ,secretary-general of party committee gave important suggestions on exercising democratic centralism. The first column of steel structure of the boiler for Project PLTU 1 BANTEN SURALAYA UNIT 8 has been installed on the position successfully on March 1, 2008, which symbolized the erection of the Project has commenced and the first milestone of the eight milestones in 2008 has been accomplished successfully. The accomplishment of the milestone indicates that the Project is executing according to the schedule. The Project Division of China National Technical Import & Export Corporation is confident that more successes will be achieved to ensure the accomplishment of all the schedules and plans of 2008 in the Project execution in 2008.
On Feb.21st, 2008, Lidang, General Manager of China General Technology Group paid an inspection tour to CNTIC Representative Office in Indonesia, CNTIC President, Jiang Xinsheng and Vice President Shanwei accompanying. The implementation office on site and the Representative Office respectively made a report regarding the execution of PLTU SURALAYA UNIT 8 and marketing in Indonesia. Lidang heard the report and proposed constructive directions. In the evening, with all the staff at site, including a contract negotiation delegation, Lidang, Jiang Xinsheng and Shanwei attended the grand Lantern Festival Celebation.
On Feb.21st, 2008, together with CNTIC President, Jiang Xinsheng and Vice President Shanwei, Lidang, General Manager of China General Technology Group hold a meeting with Mr. Sofyan, Indonesia Minister of State-Owned Enterprises. Lidang introduced Genertec¡¯s development strategy and business achievements in all-round, expressed aspiration of involved in Indonesian energy construction. Mr. Sofyan reflected the power plant project attached great concern of China and Indonesia Government, and he will support Genertec in Indonesian infrastructure construction.
Lidang, General Manager of China General Technology Group, together with CNTIC President Jiang Xinsheng and Vice President Shanwei, paid a visit to Mr. Purnomo, Indonesian Minister of Mining and Energy in Jakarta on Feb. 20th, 2008. Lidang made a comprehensive introduction of Genertec¡¯s business, capacity and business achievements in Southeast Asia area. The General Manager of China General Technology Group Li Dang, together with the Counselor of the embassy of the People¡¯s Republic of China in the republic of Indonesia Fang Qiu Chen inspected the site of PLTU 1 BANTEN SURALAYA UNIT 8 which is contracted by the subsidiary company CNTIC on February 19th 2008. The President of North West Power Construction Group Wang Sheng Nian, the Vice President of REKAYASA made a report regarding the development situation and execution experience of PLTU 1 BANTEN SURALAYA UNIT 8 project. Madam Li Dang listened the report, proposed some constructive directions for the project execution and expressed the warmest condole to all the staff working on the site represented the Board Chairman of China General Technology Group He Tong Xin. The president of CNTIC Jiang Xin Sheng, the Vice president of CNTIC Shan Wei, relevant personnel from the office and the stratagem development department of China General Technology Group joined this inspection.
The signing ceremony for the Procurement of High-Power AC Driven CoCo (7200kW) Freight Electric Locomotives was held in Genertec Building, Feb. 18, 2008. Ms Wang Guoying, Vice President of CNTIC, Mr. Yan Ping, Chief Engineer of Beijing Railway Bureau, Mr. Sun Xiyun, Chairman of CNR Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co. Ltd., and Mr. Wang Dongming, Chairman of Beijing Feb.7th Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd signed the contract respectively. Mr. Zhang Ruen, Deputy General Manager of Genertec Group, Mr. Zhang Shuguang, Deputy Chief Engineer of MOR and director general of Transportation Bureau, officials from MOR and CSR, Mr. Zhang Zhonghua and Mr. Zhao Shiguo, Vice Presidents of CNTIC, attended the signing ceremony.
CNTIC Vice president Mr. Shan Wei went to the site of PLTU 1 BANTEN SURALAYA UNIT 8 on Feb 6th 2008. During the stay, Mr. Shan Wei inspected whole job site, attend the spring festival celebration hosted by our site staff , had Chinese new year dinner together with all the CNTIC staff working at site.
An Evening Party Welcoming the Upcoming Spring Festival was thrown by CNTIC in the Genertec PLAZA on January 28, 2008. The Contract for Philippine Mainline South Railway Project (Phase I, Section I), in which project, CNTIC plays a role as main Contractor, has been officially signed between CNTIC and Philippine National Railway (PNR), on Jan. 15, 2007, in Manila. On behalf of two parties, Mr. Jiang Xinsheng, the President of CNTIC and Mr. Jose Ma. I. Sarasola, II, General Manager of PNR, mutually signed the Contract. Mr. Wen Jiabao, Chinese Prime Minister and Ms. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Philippine President witnessed the signing ceremony.
The Signing Ceremony of the Kaolin-Bearing Silica Sand Plant Contract was held on Jan. 9th, 2007 in the Intercontinental Hotel, Cairo, Egypt. Mr. Wu Duoyu, Vice President of CNTIC attended the ceremony and signed the contract on behalf of CNTIC. On Dec, 21, 2006, the 1st Genertec Youth English contest (Final) was held as scheduled. CNTIC won the championship through bouts finally. CNTIC team made their best efforts and behaved outstandingly. The Signing Ceremony of the purchase Contract of Gas Turbine Train for Fujian Xiamen East Gas-Fired Turbine Power Plant Project was held on October 18, 2006 in Xiamen International Seaside Hotel. Mr. Zhang Zhonghua, Vice President of CNTIC attended the ceremony and signed the contract on behalf of CNTIC.
The 100th Session of Chinese Export Commodities Fair (Phase 1£©successfully closed on October 20. The number of CNTIC show booths was the best compared with the past exhibitions and the contracts signed by CNTIC at the exhibition reached US 20 million dollars. Vice-President Wu Duoyu paid personal visit to the Expo in Guangzhou to inspect the exhibition work. The Director of Genertec, Mr. Zhang Wenyuan visited the booths of CNTIC.

On October 12th 2006, the signing ceremony for the Procurement of 500 High-Power AC Driven CoCo Freight Electric Locomotives was held in Genertec Plaza. Madam Li Dang, General Manager of Genertec Group, Mr. Liu Debing, Vice President of CNTIC, Mr. Wang Xusheng, Vice President of CNTIC, officials from MOR and CNR, and representatives from related locomotive manufacturers and its technical supporter - ALSTOM Transport S.A. of France attended the signing ceremony. On October 6th 2006, Madam Ma Lu, Vice President of CNTIC attended the Indonesia-China Business Seminar and Investment Forum in Indonesia. Hosted by Ministry of Commerce of the People¡¯s Republic of China, China Engineering Technology Exhibition was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on September 26. Mr. Wang Xusheng, vice president of CNTIC, along with some employees from the company attended the exhibition. The Signing Ceremony of the purchase Contract of Gas Turbine Train for Fujian Putian Gas Power Plant Project was held on August 31, 2006 in Beijing at CNOOC Plaza. Signing Ceremony for Rectisol and Methanol Contract for SNCG DME Project was held in Genertec Plaza in Beijing on August 30£¬2006. CNTIC is the commercial agent of this project. Vice President Madam Wang Guoying attended the Signing Ceremony.
The Bid Opening Ceremony for the Tendering of the project reconnaissance and design of Huaneng Qidong 100MW Wind Power Plant Project which is undertaken by CNTIC was held on August 10, 2006 in Genertec Plaza. As the Start-up Tendering of this Wind Power Project, this opening ceremony indicates the recursion to the wind power field of CNTIC. In the afternoon of August 2nd., Mr. Zhang Zhonghua, Vice President of CNTIC, Met the delegation led by Mr. Saad Al-Rashid, General Manager of ARTAR Group of Saudi Arabia in Genertec Plaza. China¡¯s first 9E-CLASS, Heavy-duty Gas Turbine manufactured and assembled by Nanjing Turbine & Electirc Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd (NTC) and GE consortium, was delivered on July 12, 2006 from NTC. The Gas Turbine was procured by Qinghai Geermu Gas Turbine Plant through bundled buy conducted by CNTIC. Mr. Zhang Zhonghua, Vice-President of CNTIC, leading a team, attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for it.

On June 12, 2006 to 16, vice president of CNTIC Wang Guoying headed a delegation to Indonesia discussing the locomotive procurement project. During her stay Wang met His Excellency of Hatta, Indonesian Minister of Transportation. They had a constructive discussion on the financial and technical solutions for the project. Ms. Li Dang, the General Manager of Genertec Group and Mr. Jiang Xinsheng, the President of CNTIC Visited the Secretary Romulo Neri of the Philippine National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) on June 2nd, 2006 during the opening of China - Philippine Economic Partnership Forum. The two sides friendly and widely discussed the project in the field of infrastructure cooperation in the Philippines.
China - Philippine Economic Partnership Forum hold in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, on June 5th and 6th, 2006. The international procurement contracts for Guizhou Chitianhua Paper 200,000.¡ªton per year bamboo pulp project auxiliary equipment were inked in Genertec Plaza on March 24£¬ 2006. On Feb. 22, Mr. Liu Debing, the Vice President of CNTIC had a meeting with the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Both sides exchanged their opinions about the project co-operation and discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in the future.

On February 16, CNTIC held the 2006 annual work conference at Genertec Plaza, with leaders and all the staff attending the conference. On January 23 CNTIC held a party celebrating the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) 2006. On January 12, the signing ceremony of the purchase contract for electronic target systems for the shooting center of the 2008 Olympic Games of which CNTIC acts as the agent was held in Beijing. On January 11, CNTIC held a New Year Gathering of retired people of CNTIC in Beijing. The gathering was presided over by Wang Xusheng, Party Secretary and Vice-President of CNTIC. President Jiang Xinsheng delivered New Year¡¯s greetings to the retired people on behalf of CNTIC. It was a happy gathering full of the atmosphere of warmth and good luck.
On Dec.17 to 20, CNTIC President Jiang Xinsheng headed a delegation to Islamic Republic of Iran. During his sojourn in Iran, he paid a visit to Mr. Liu Zhentang, Chinese Ambassador in Iran. They exchanged opinions on how to promote CNTIC¡¯s business in Iran extensively.
On December 10, the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Yangshan Deep Water Port (Phase I), for which CNTIC acts as the agent, was staged in Shanghai. Vice-Premier Huang Ju, attended this ceremony and declared the opening of the port. Liu Debing, Vice-President of CNTIC and relevant personnel, totaling over 3000, were present at this ceremony.
CNTIC acts as an agent for procuring the public-address systems for the opera house, the theatre and the concert hall and the stage lighting system for the opera house of the National Grand Theatre, and the signing ceremony of the project was held at the Great Hall of the People on the evening of December 2, 2005. On October 17, Jiang Xinsheng, President of CNTIC, attended the seminar on the development of large gas turbine-based electricity generating technologies held in Hangzhou and delivered a speech entitled Promoting the Development of China¡¯s Gas Turbine Sector by Introducing Technologies through Packages of Invitations.
The 7th China Hi-Tech Fair opened on October 12 in Shenzhen. Accompanied by leaders of related departments, Wu Duoyu, Vice-President of CNTIC, was present at the exhibition booth to give instructions.

On September 1, the signing ceremony of the Ministry of Railways¡¯ contract on the procurement and introduction of the technology of high-power AC-driven internal-combustion engines was held at Genertec Plaza. The ceremony was conducted by CNTIC on behalf of Ministry of Railways. Deputy General Manager Zhang Ru¡¯en of Genertec Group, President Jiang Xinsheng and Vice-President Liu Debing, as well as relevant leaders of Ministry of Railways and experts attended the signing ceremony. On August 25, Jiang Xinsheng, President of CNTIC met with Mr. Jusuf Kalla, Vice-President of Indonesia. Vice-President Jusuf Kalla expressed that he would give full support for CNTIC to fully participate in the renovation and reconstruction of the Indonesian sugar factory and encouraged CNTIC to promote and participate in the cooperation between both governments in agriculture, especially in the technology of planting sugar canes. Ms. Delima, Indonesian Vice-Minister of Agriculture and Mr. Hans, President of Indonesian Sugar Industrial Association, were present at the meeting.
On August 23, 2005, Vice President Mr. Wu Duoyu met with Mr. Ahmad Atif Dardir, Managing Director of the Egyptian Salts & Minerals Company, the owner of Epsom Salt Production Plant & Sodium Chloride Production Plant contract, in Genertec Plaza. They exchanged ideas on how to promote the project of Indonesia Banjarsari 2 x 100MW Circulating Fluidized Bed power station. On July 29, CNTIC President Jiang Xinsheng met with Mr. HANS MARAMIS, President of Indonesia Sugar Association at Genertec Plaza and they conducted a friendly conversation. In memory of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between China and the Philippines, the Exhibition of Chinese Mechanical and Electronic Products was held in Manila from June 9-12. CNTIC, among 100 or so companies, took part in this exhibition. Our company occupied an important place in the exhibition hall, its grandiose style of arranging the exhibits highlighting the image and status of the company as a major Chinese enterprise for exportation of large-sized whole-set equipment and technology, and attracting a wide attention.
On May 27, CNTIC President Jiang Xinsheng led a team to Indonesia for a railway project. During his sojourn in Indonesia, President Jiang paid a visit to Ir. M. Hatta Rajasa, Minister of Transportation of Indonesia, and introduced to the Minister about the history, achievements and business of Genertec and CNTIC, especially their achievements, experience and strength in the railway industry.
On 19th May, the Vice President, Mr. Wu Duoyu headed a deligation to Tashkent for both commercial and technical discussions for the Projects of Medical Equipment of Oncological Center and Equipment for Computer Classes under the Chinese Government¡¯s Concessional Loan. On 30th May and 10th of June, the Vice President signed the Contract with the General Manager of RFEE ¡°UZMEDEXPORT¡± and the Minister of the Ministry of Public Education.

As the main Contractor for PHP Float Glass Project (with melting capacity of 150T/D), CNTIC Vice President Mr. Wang Xusheng participated the project furnace Heating up ceremony, which hold in Chittagong, Bangladesh on May 15, 2005.
Mr. Zhang Zhonghua, the vice president of CNTIC, presented the opening ceremony of Zhejiang Zheneng Zhenhai Gas Turbine Power Plant with Mr.Hu Songru, the general manager of Zhejiang Zheneng Zhenhai Natural Gas Power Generation Co., Ltd on May 9th. Zhejiang Zhenhai Oil-Fired Renovating Gas-Fired Power Generation Project, one of East China Sea Oil Field Exploitation project, was signed on September 16th 2004 and came into force on March 24th 2005.

On January 30, 2005 the Awarding Ceremony 2004 of National Talents in Ten Fields was held in National Political Consultative Auditorium in Beijing. Signing Ceremony for Shenzhen Meishi Gas Turbine Power Plant project was held in Shenzhen on January 14, 2005. Mr. Jiang Xinsheng, President of China National Technical Imp & Exp Corp. (CNTIC), was present and signed the contract. Shenzhen Meishi project, as the eighth signed contract in the Bundle Buy Two, is the first E class Gas Turbine Power Generating Unit.
Mr. Wu Duoyu, Vice President of CNTIC, met the visiting group led by Mr. Kononov, Vice President of Russian Heavy Industry Export Corporation at Genertec Plaza on January 14, 2005. The two parties held a friendly negotiation concerning commercial and technical details on the Project of Supply of Air Separation Equipment of KDON-20000/1200 type, which is handled by CNTIC Department of Commonwealth of Independent States
On Dec. 22, 2004, Mr. Jiang Xinsheng, President of CNTIC visited the Philippines and had a meeting with Mr. Wu Hongbo, Chinese Ambassador in the Philippines, for Main Line South Railway Project in the regions of Luzon.
On December 8, 2004, Mr. Wu Duoyu, Vice President of CNTIC, visited job site of Epsom Salt Plant, Egypt which is a turn-key job undertaken by CNTIC.
On December 7, CNTIC held a signing ceremony at Genertec Plaza for the second locomotive procurement and technology transfer contract for the high-power AC transmission locomotive procurement and technology transfer project under the Ministry of Railways. President Jiang Xinsheng, Vice-President Liu Debing and officials and experts from the Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Railways attended the ceremony. President Jiang signed the contract on behalf of CNTIC.
On November 16th, 2004, Mr. Jiang Xinsheng, president, China National Technical Import & Export Corporation (CNTIC), met with Mr. Patrik Tighe, vice-president, Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd (AECL) at General Technology Building. The two sides have held friendly talks on the Sino-Canadian cooperation in nuclear power development.
